Microfest

This event is related to microprocessor and microcontroller. All rounds are based on the 8086 microprocessor and 8051 microcontroller. This event includes quiz, error debugging and programming with implementation.

ROUND 1-Shotgun

This round includes questions which has to be answered by the team members within a time limit of 60 seconds for each question.Negative marks will be considered for each wrong answer.

Time limit: 30 minutes.

This is an elimination round. Teams which are selected will step into second round.

ROUND 2-Ironout

This round includes debugging of errors in the set of given programs. The team members are advised to correct the errors as soon as possible. Priority is given to those who have completed the task at the earliest.

Time limit: Maximum 45 minutes.

The selected teams will enter into the final round.

ROUND 3-Coding

Team members are asked to code two programs-one based on microprocessor and another one based on microcontroller. They have to finish the coding and implement it in the given kit.

Time limit: Maximum 1hour

RULES:

1.The team may consists of maximum of 2 members.

2.Use of electronic equipments are strictly prohibited.

3.Judges decision is final.
