EVENT TAGLINE: BEING ON THE LINE, WILL MAKE YOU SHINE

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

Its time to test your technical skills accurately. A robot having skill of

sensing colour will enrouteto victory.Having fun with keen, will give you win

with gain. Make your Robot follow the marked track on the floor. In case it fails tofollow, points goes off.

EVENT RULES AND REQUIREMENTS:

1. Length of the event :3 min(max)

2. Robot control: autonomous

3. Event summary: the objective of this robot is for a robot to follow a black line on a white background without losing the line and navigating several turns (not more than 90 degree).the robot completing the course in the shortest time while accurately tracking the course from start to finish wins.

4. size and weight:Robots not more than 1kg weight of any size are permitted.Robots must have passed a manual inspection prior to the contest.

5. course time:Time Is measured from the time the robot crosses the starting line until it crosses the finish line.A robot is deemed to cross the line when the robots entire body crosses the line.

6. Time limit: a maximum of 3 minutes will be allocated for the robot to complete the entire course.

7. Autonomous control:Once the robot has crossed the starting line it must remain fully autonomous or it will be disqualified.

8. Losing the line: A robot that loses the line course must reacquire the line from the point where it was lost. The clock will not be stopped in between.

9. Course specifications: The course shall be a white background with black lines(further specifications shall be revealed only when the event commences).

10. power of the organizers:

The decision of the in charge will be final
Any robot can be disqualified by the in charge.
In case of a tie the in charge will resolve it.
Rules specified above may be changed if necessary on spot by the organizers.
